La Trinidad is also located in the Province of Benguet and one of the major tourist spots which you must visit! Just like Baguio City, La Trinidad also has a cold atmosphere and weather due to its mountainous terrain and high altitude. The difference between the two? - it's much colder in La Trinidad!
Craving for fresh strawberries? La Trinidad is the most perfect place to satisfy this craving :) They have numerous and wide strawberry plantations all over the place and because of the cold weather, strawberries adapted very well with the climate.
TRAVEL TIP: La Trinidad is an hour drive from Baguio City so it will be better if you have your personal transportation to avoid any inconvenience. Along the way you can see a lot of strawberry farms.
Besides strawberries, they also have lettuce here in which the lushness is very evident and no one can surely deny these are fresh from the ground!
TRAVEL TIP: You can ask a local farmer that you want to pick your own lettuce and buy it per kilo. It's surely not a problem for them.
The roads from Baguio are very nice so you will comfortably enjoy the scenery along the way!Visit La Trinidad and never forget to grab some strawberry jams from Good Shepherd Farms for pasalubong for friends. It only costs PHP 30 per bottle (regular size)!
